EPRA and its predecessor firms have a long history of representing maritime interests. Our senior maritime attorney Robert S. Glenn, Jr., has over 34 years experience representing the world’s major protection and indemnity insurers (“P&I Clubs”), domestic liability insurers, hull insurers and other marine specialty insurers. His experience includes the mediation, arbitration and trial of cargo cases, personal injury, allision, collision, marine construction, charter parties disputes, pollution, vessel arrests, tug and tow, salvage and other commercial transactions. He has represented ship owners, charterers, underwriters, tug and barge operators, pilots, dredging companies, terminal owners, shipyards, ship agents, yacht owners and numerous other maritime businesses.
Mr. Glenn, is actively involved in national and local maritime organizations, including formerly serving on the Board of Directors of the Maritime Law Association of the United States, past Chairman of the Southeast Admiralty Law Institute, and a member of the steering committee of the Maritime Arbitration Association. The firm serves as local correspondent for several P&I Clubs and represents numerous domestic underwriters.
