Mediation
Ellis Painter has two of the most experienced mediators in the State of Georgia, both having begun their mediation practice in the early 1990’s. Two other mediators join them to complete the most diverse and experienced mediation department outside of Atlanta. Our mediators have handled disputes involving personal injury, construction, medical malpractice, wills and estates, transportation, business and commercial matters and numerous other types of civil litigation. One of our mediators has developed a national practice in maritime mediation, traveling from San Juan to Maine and Jacksonville to Houston to mediate maritime disputes.
In 2010, Ellis Painter opened its Mediation Center, including a large conference room and comfortable caucus rooms. The Mediation Center is equipped with the amenities necessary for an efficient and successful mediation.
Arbitration
Our attorneys have served as arbitrators in numerous civil cases including maritime, personal injury, construction and business dispute.
Mr. Ratterree, who began arbitrating in the early 1990’s, is a panel arbitrator of the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Ellis served as an arbitrator of various corporate disputes.
