Amber Robinson is an attorney practicing in the firm’s litigation section, focusing her practice primarily on civil defense practice. Ms. Robinson has experience handling cases in a variety of matters, including premise liability, automobile and trucking accidents, insurance coverage, and family law.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Robinson worked as an Assistant Public Defender in the Augusta Judicial Circuit, where she represented indigent clients charged with misdemeanors and felonies in State and Superior Court. Before that she worked for the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council in their appellate division preparing and arguing motions for new trial.
A native of Mississippi, Ms. Robinson received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Belhaven University in Jackson, MS. While in college, she was a member of the Women’s Tennis Team, and a member of Belhaven’s Concert Choir/Chorale.
Ms. Robinson made Georgia her home when she attended law school at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. While in law school, she competed on the Client Counseling Competition Team. She also held executive positions on the Mercer Advocacy Council, the Student Bar Association, and the Second Amendment Society. She was an active member of the Association for Women Law Students. Additionally, while in law school Ms. Robinson served as a judicial extern for the Superior Court judges in Houston County.
