Management Rights

Labor and Employment on the Waterfront

Multiemployer Benefit Plans

EPRA attorneys are experienced in the interpretation and drafting of Multiemployer Benefit Plans, interpreting ERISA and other applicable laws, and advising benefit plan Trustees of their obligations.

Maritime and Admiralty

The firm’s attorneys have represented a variety of maritime interests, including the world’s major protection and indemnity insurers (“P&I Clubs”), domestic liability insurers, hull insurers and other marine specialty insurers.  The firm also handles mediation, arbitration and trial of cargo cases, personal injury, allision, collision, marine construction, charter parties disputes, pollution, vessel arrests, tug and tow, salvage and other commercial transactions. EPRA has represented ship owners, charterers, underwriters, tug and barge operators, pilots, dredging companies, terminal owners, shipyards, ship agents, yacht owners and numerous other maritime businesses. The firm serves as local correspondent for several P&I Clubs and represents numerous domestic underwriters.
